Mission Community Services Corporation and the Women's Business Center are dedicated to enhancing opportunities for potential entrepreneurs and small business owners to become self-sustaining, successful contributors to their communities, with special assistance for low-income, minority and non-profit businesses.

We are committed to each individual that seeks our assistance and will guide you towards improving your financial situation. From teaching basic budget skills, credit repair, to starting or growing your own business, we make sure you have whatever it takes to succeed! Brown Bag Update
Our season of brown bag seminars begins in March 28th with Dawn Golik from the SBA's Regional Office. She will be presenting on the importance of becoming a certified Women Owned Small Business (WOSB). More information to follow soon.

Consulting Update
If you are a client in San Luis Obispo, Kern or Monterey County and are looking for a highly qualified consultant to meet with - call us! We are scheduling appointments now. Both English and Spanish speaking consultants are available.

The MCSC Women's Business Center is offering low cost training events to help your business succeed!
Are you starting a company? Do you want to turn your idea into a reality? Mission Community Services is proud to offer the following courses on starting, managing and growing a business. Learn how - so you have the best chance of success!

Start Run & Grow Your Business - Starts this Thursday,several spaces are still available.
A 10 week course in 3 convenient locations that provides Self-Employment Training. Receive weekly training in the most important aspects of planning, financing, marketing and managing a small business. Develop a Business Plan including a business description, marketing strategy, cash flow projections, operations plan, and a network to help sustain the business. Graduation Ceremony Included

Instructor: Ken Kehs
Date and Times: Consecutive Thursdays, 6:00-9:00PM, February 27-April 24 plus one additional date to be arranged.
Location: Business and Career One-Stop 880 Industrial Way, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
Fee: $400, Materials include book, two online books, online business plan builder. Scholarships available.

Empezando – Comenzando Tu Negocio
A 10 week course presented in Spanish that provides Self-Employment Training.
Receive weekly training in the most important aspects of planning, financing, marketing and managing a small business.
